Village Hall Survey - April 2017

So far, 54% of those surveyed have responded.

95% had used the village hall in the last two years for the following reasons:

Village Event – 79%, Church Event – 54%, Village Hall Event – 50%, Attended classes – 15%
Hired the hall – 13%, Attended a private event – 11%, Other – 4% (This was polling so I suspect many others didn’t register this)

60% knew about this website and 36% had been on it.

81% said they were very or quite likely to come along to a film event if the hall was able to show films.

​Suggestions for Village Hall activities included: get togethers for the older residents, 40s night, Christmas event, Farmers'/ French market, Local history events, Beer Festival, Tai Chi, Aerobics, Coffee Mornings, Fake Thackeray.

Dadlington Village Hall is a registered charity - charity no.702918. The costs for maintaining and developing the hall are mainly funded through booking fees and fundraising.

​STOP PRESS - The Hall has received a grant from Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council that will enable building work to be completed.


Dadlington Village Hall is situated on the green in the middle of Dadlington. It has been used by the local community since being built in 1886 as a Parish Room. Redesigned in the 1940s and recently refurbished and extended, the hall has been the focus for events and celebrations within the village for many years and is available for hire by groups and individuals.
